TOPIC: CalOSHA Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (Draft)

In December 2017 CalOSHA issued a draft regulatory requirement for a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan.  As part of the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) required by title 8, section 3203, the employer shall establish, implement and maintain an effective workplace violence prevention plan (Plan). The Plan shall be in writing and shall be available to employees at all times. The written Plan may be incorporated into the written IIPP or maintained as a separate document.The presentation will cover who this plan will apply to, what must be included, and details on how to implement this in the workplace.
